Reichel plays but not Kaiser. Something happened to him yesterday during a fight but no news. Plus Ludwinski, Misiak and Lardis make up a line? Wild. What I really don’t understand is Rockford can grab home ice if they win and Grand Rapids loses. G.R. plays #1 Milwaukee so there’s a good chance Rockford could steal second place, so why play this lineup? |

I'm watching the game on TV (Ch50) so the big screen instead of streaming on my laptop - much nicer. Nice to see Lardis and Misiak getting to play - so far through 2 periods they haven't really done much. Score is 2-2 with Reichel making a nice primary assist pass to Teply for a tap in.
The Hogs are resting players. Three of their starting D are not playing - Allan, Kaiser and Phillips. Allan has been out injured for a while, Kaiser played yesterday but apparently got rocked in a fight so don't know if it's just precautionary or not and as far as I know Phillips is just rest before the playoffs begin.

hogs took a 2-0 lead into the 3rd but lose 3-2 in o/t. theahl.com/stats/game-center/1026397on the o/t goal, once seney was nailed along the boards, roos went over to challenge the griffin player even though the play was still going...so basically the hogs were 2 men down on the GWG. |

Yeah crazy ending Refs put away the whistles at the begging of the 3rd. Yeah there were a couple of players that stopped playing one Stauber would like back. Lucas was dominating the first 2 periods than went back to floating Lucas. Phillips by far the best looking Dman tonight. Kinda just like the big club couple of mistakes and they pay for it. Dach looked ok tried to be a disturbance. Atmosphere was real good I miss that.

Teply had another slowish season but he has scored 7 goals in his last dozen games. At the very least I hope the Hogs consider bringing him back as a veteran presence next year. That was a nice dish from Reichel but you still have to have the wherewithal to score there on such a large man as Cossa. |
