The Czechs down 5-2 now. I said it before and I’ll say it again. Teams like the Czechs may upset the odd team. But they’ll never win a medal with that 2002 strategy. I think it’s best just like Finland to take your lumps and learn to play the real way. Develop skill. Sweden was the home of the left wing lock. Now they play an offensive type game. But this year. Sweden is playing the bending but don’t break just like the Czechs. The USA will crush them. Sweden also had a pretty easy division. I believe the US squad beats em quite handily!!! Well, aren't you just Mr. Know It All and Able to Predict the Future? Good call!!!!!!!!!! |

I will say this. The American team could not have been more classless. That’s very upsetting. I though they did a good job the whole tourney not gloating and saying shit as they passed the other teams bench after a goal. But what I just seen was disgraceful. That’s embarrassing, and I hope someone within that org lays the law down on them. McGroarty was a force in the game, and absolutely classless. He never should have been captain. I’m happy they won. They had the best team. But that display in the final 5 mins was horrible at best. They gotta be more professional!!!

They were taunting the crowd. Even Augustine got involved and when he skated to the corner he was taunting them. I believe it was Leonard who pulled his glove off after a goal and blew kisses to the crowd. I forget who it was. But there was 15 seconds left and they send a clapper from just outside the blue line at the Swedish goalies head. Why even take that shot? Dump it in the corner. Then Johnson on Sweden literally went and fought over that. There were 2 fights going on because of it. Just classless they were!!! |

I wonder if there was an incident that made them act this way |

But T they are not professionals they are just kids who were booed and trashed talk by the crowed every game. I hear what you are saying but they were disrespected all tourney the fact that Canada was allowed to play all there games in the big rink when usually that only happens for the host country. And trust me those kids were well aware how many Canadian fans were all over them in the championship game. Yes I wish they could have been more respectful but the heat of the moment and just being kids shit happens. A lot worse things have been done by junior teams. |
