Hard to believe he’s already 32. Wow, I never seen this day coming. I was 28 or 29 when he was drafted. Now, not so much. Happy Birthday to the Tazer!!!

Happy Birthday Tazer. Hard to believe he's 32, doesn't seem that long ago he was a leader for Canada at the World Juniors and I thought who ever got him in the draft is a lucky team, then Pittsburgh took Staal at #2 😳

something that was discussed a few pages back.
i hope they wouldn't decide to totally blank out all of the rink-side noise. can you imagine a guy ringing one off the pipe or a major check into the end boards and not being able to hear it?
maybe they could just put a "WARNING: COARSE LANGUAGE" banner on the bottom of the screen during the opening faceoff and just let her rip. i can guarantee if the league warned to teams to watch the language it'd stay in their heads for about the first quarter of their first shift. : )

I'd even do a pay-per-view.

I'd even do a pay-per-view. With the potential of no fans in the arenas (in all sports) I could see an elevated version of sports packaging that would require all televised games to be pay per view, whether in market or not. Currently Center Ice isn't necessary if you're a Hawks fan living in Chicago as games are not blacked out. But in order to generate lost revenue the owners could very well change this until the fans are allowed back into the stadiums.

Would be pretty funny if they did not only fans cheering, but a laugh track as well when something comical happens on the ice.

A little canned laughter woulda came in handy after the Joker trade last summer!

Well, the Hawks were better defending their zone this year, but if it had been last year, they could have played the Benny Hill music when they were scrambling around in their d-zone

The NHL isn't doing pay per view anytime soon. People simply don't tune in as much in the summer months and they aren't about to put out money on watching teams play in the Cup rounds if their teams are out. There are heavy TV contracts out there already as well. These contracts are legally binding.

Maybe I’m not understanding that? Why was the first one pink? And the 2nd one is the true gender? I get how they do those. We had a cake that revealed once you cut it open, it was blue inside (icing). But now where was it first pink then a bigger amount of blue. Anyone know the reason for that? Congrats to Drake and future wife!!!

Congrats to Drake and future wife!!! Looks to me there was leftover chalk of both colours on the netting from previous reveals, or practise shots? Good thing is when the kid starts dropping teeth Drake is on a first name basis with the tooth fairy.
