Henry matched his output from last season, 7a, in 43 less games. Rinzel doubled his goal output from last season in only 5gms, 4g. He has 3a to go with those goals. That's great to see for both players. One thing I'm curious about with Henry: Since he now has a year of experience under his belt, it made me wonder; Is he trying to be more involved on offense this season? I know it's still early but 7 assists in 11 games would suggest maybe he's trying to do more on the offensive part. I remember the assist he had in the video posted back on Oct. 21 wasn't the typical dman assist. I recall he looked like a forward on that play when he headed to the net. With the way he can skate, it would be good for him if he could develop some offense in his game. His first year he was probably just trying not to make too many mistakes and figuring out the league. Now that he's been drafted and went through a training camp he's more prepared this season. That was a nice highlight and he definitely looked like a forward, maybe he can switch when he turns pro like Buff did. Either way he's a big boy who looks promising, especially for a 7th rounder.

Does anyone have a FloHockey account?
I'm thinking of getting it, at first I thought $200 for AHL games was a lot but then noticed it also has College, USHL, ECHL, and Juniors. Seems worth it.

I tried a screenshot just a few seconds before Kansterov scored his goal. It looks like his teammate is playing at another level. [img src=" i.imgur.com/M8Rcne1.png" alt="" src=""]

Aidan Thompson had 1 g and 2 a's in the two games vs. Wisc.
His assist starts about 1:44. His goal starts about 3:19. He had 1 g and 2 a's in the weekend series.

Yep, had an assist in his first game back and now a goal in his second game. I watched the 2nd and 3rd periods and he played his usual very good 200' game - backchecking and disrupting plays in the d-zone. He came within about an inch away from scoring a shorthanded goal too.

Rinzel had 2 assists in last night's game. UMinn. won the two games against St. Thomas 7-1 and 6-2.
While Rinzel had a great series, what was disappointing was in scoring 13 goals total, Oliver Moore didn't get a single point. I looked at Moore's FO's; he was 2/8 in game 1, and 3/7 in game 2.

The only prospect in NCAA that did something but not mentioned yet is Aidan Thompson. He had a primary assist last night. That gives him 12 pts. (4 g's) in 7 games so far this year. I wonder how the Hawks view him. He'll be 23 when this season ends.

I wonder how the Hawks view him. He'll be 23 when this season ends. Taige Harding is in the NCAA and had a primary assist last night. Thompson is off to a good start in his 3rd season, his numbers dropped last season, 2 less points and he played 12 more games than his first season. But he's wearing an A this season and he's well above a point a game. He's KDs 3rd round pick in his first draft, I can see him in Rockford next season.

Look at that footwork before he one timed it, moves great for a huge man. There's a compilation vid of him in Fort McMurray and it's impressive, one highlight was an end to end rush in OT and he sniped the winner. Another was a huge hit and someone tried to fight him...tried, didn't go well for the other guy.

Won't we see him at Rockford next season? For Aidan Thompson, I had wondered if being 23 by the time he could be signed might hinder him somewhat as far how the Hawks viewed him. Both EP and Hockeydb show him as a C. If he does he play C for DU, it made wonder if there may already be a lot of other similar players already signed.

The over-ager factor needs to be considered when evaluating Aiden Thompson - plus he's under 6' and thin. But he played very well and was a big contributor in Denver winning the Frozen Four last season. He took and won a lot of faceoffs and his speed was a factor in the game. He has good offensive instincts and plays a good 200' game. He should get a shot in Rockford next season.

Another over age prospect is 2019 6th rounder, Basse. He's playing for St Lawrence this season, only 1 start in 9gms but he stopped 37 of 39 shots. Considering they're 4-5, he should get more starts.
He'll be 24 next April, if Chicago doesn't sign him Rockford should and start him in Indy.

Aidan Thompson had 2 g's and 1 a. He now has 15 pts. (6 goals) in 8 gms.
I think Boisvert had a goal; I'm sure someone can confirm for sure.

Here are Aidan Thompson's two goals. Start about 2:33 and 5:37. They're very similar goals. Denver is now 8-0 on the season.

Greene had an assist in a 5-4 loss and was 13 for 21 at faceoffs.
No points for Rinzel and Moore in a 1-0 win but Moore was 11 for 16 at faceoffs.

I wonder if Taige Harding could be converted to forward.
Given the present depth on defence, it might be a real challenge for him to find a role with this team at his present position. But if he can play forward and develops a mean streak, we might have something.
With his size and physical game, he might be exactly what this team needs for the bottom six.
