Kirby likes Bauer Vapor gloves, there’s probably not a better glove but someone is going to whack his wrist the first time he tries to break through the defense, hope they find a way to protect that wrist for awhile longer. |

Sadly, I find myself not caring one bit about this kid and whether he ever plays another game for this franchise.
I remain incredibly pissed off he went to play for Canada and even risked injury let alone sustained one.
The day he becomes captain (which I hear is inevitable at some point) is probably the day I stop watching this team for a while.

I can't fault him for wanting the experience. |

How is Dach any different? they had played seasons in the league, had already led team deep into playoffs dach has less than 1 full season under his belt as i said before here (I think) if playing in a junior competition was so damn important then he shouldn't have signed his pro contract and waited to enter draft until after he fulfilled his "dream" it is clear his loyalty and priority lies with canada not the chicago blackhawks or he wouldn't have gone to play as far as I am concerned he is a selfish, entitled POS and should give the franchise back money for all the games he has missed you all can think whatever you want and forgive it and move on cause "injuries happen" that's fine... I will never cheer for this kid and I hope he is gone from this franchise rather quickly to be honest |

As you say, merper doesn't belong to the most positive persons at earth, but the last couple of posts did not look like him. And appeared out of nowhere. He’s definitely not one to pass up a debate, that’s for sure. But I think besides that last episode here. He’s been a very great poster since he came back. I just never thought I’d see him come in with dueling barrels and go absolutely nuclear without being driven to that. Just seems odd. I’m gonna reach out to him. He seems like a great guy, I hope he and Phill are alright. I’m not treating them as victims, just a concern for two individuals with two very odd circumstances!!! |

It was in the best interest of Dach's development therefore the best interest of the organization to have Dach play in a pressure cooker tournament. |
