My objection would be then you could end up with a Cup series of like Rangers/Islanders. The rest of the country would be uninterested in a "subway" series. It’s possible, but there will always be finals no one gives a shite about. Like last years. I had zero interest in watching that, both teams didn’t interest me much. And I believe the ratings were pretty bad too!!! We all like different stuff,I liked to see the decent into ice capades hockey put on hold for at least a year myself. |

I just checked my S10 and I saw on the bottom right "Dashboard" - "Desktop" when I clicked "quote" I clicked on desktop and it looks just like the PC version with the "ADD ATTACHMENT" button there. |

i rarely do more from my phone than read posts but i hit "desktop" and it worked although you had to zoom in and then you could only see tiny areas of the screen at once. never tried posting a pic or anything. then i didn't know how to get it out of "desktop." thankfully the next day it had just changed back to the old format by itself. |

I can do everything from my iPhone, it’s the new era I guess. I have QuickBooks and everything on here and it’s all on a measly phone. Convenient for sure, but annoying a good chunk of the time!!! |

One thing I’d like Stan to get better at, and I’ve beat this drum forever. Always trade a guy when his replacement is in tow. Colorado traded Tyson Barrie last summer, Cale Makar has come in as a top D prospect, took Barrie’s spot in the lineup and has quietly put up 18 points in 18 games, with 5 goals to boot.
A good GM knows this, and trusts his view and judgements. Gustafsson should have been traded this summer, with that contract only at 1.2 and the 60 point campaign he had, that should have been a slam dunk trade win, and bring in Boqvist. It really is that simple. Now we have obsolete farm machinery in Gustafsson, and probably could have kept Joker. Even with Nylander, I feel he’s obsolete here as well. I don’t understand the need for a soft scoring winger? We needed toughness and more of a power forward.
Once again Kane is saving the org. 3 points again last night. The team is really not good and the only chance at survival is to run and gun and score 4-5 a game. Just not a well built roster. Don’t let the high scoring wins fool you. It’ll get us in the playoffs, but no further. Worst part is, we have more of the same coming in the pipeline, it won’t change until massive change is made. 42 more shots last night. I do like a win, but it’s only a matter of time before the levee breaks!!!

You're preachin' to the choir on moving Gus last summer T,some GM who did little coulda went to his fan base and said "look what I got you",if the offers weren't considered good enough....they probably should have been. The current style of play is NOT conducive to PO success but making the PO's probably saves jobs. I woulda liked another tough forward added that can play well too but I still have my doubts this is a priority for the Org. |

Possibly no one was interested, or SB wanted too much/other teams offered too little. We are never privy to the phone calls. Nor will we ever be told if any deals were offered. |

Kudos to Stan for that trade, that's an example how you should trade. When player still has a value so you can get decent return. Murphy is more than decent and young. Unfortunately he did not follow that pattern with Seabrook. |

Stan was an idiot and gave him the farm. Not thinking that not every defense man is Larry Robinson and can play well into their 40's. The rest is history and in all likelihood Seabs will retire a BlackHawk as will the other three. Kane Toews and Keith. It's always good to keep super star players but that anyone consider Seabs to have ever been anything other than a good defense man... |

It made no sense to keep him and give up on a solid 2way dman who's a righty, Joker, but that's Stan for you. I'm just hoping he has some clarity and realizes Gus should be traded before he has another dry spell when he's only playing bad D and no offense. |

As I said many times, it's not his fault he is forced to play a role not proper for him.It's because free cap needed for TOP2 defensive dman is already spent on Seabrook, trading this 1.2M guy would solve NOTHING and would not make HAwks a better team, because you cant replace a guy who is 200K above minimum salary with solid defensive dman.
Only two meaningfull reasons to trade him would be A) If he would ask too much money or B ) if some team would offer big return for him.Otherways it would be just useless trade.

Gus continues to be a liability. Again last night on the winning goal he miss played the puck. He should have taken the man but he tried some sliding play missing the puck. I really can't see why even if they need a goal in such situations why he is on the ice. It is truly time to be rid of this turn over machine. The few good offensive plays he makes does not equate to his very poor defensive play costing the team goals against.

He turns the puck over just about every shift now and he pots a few because he shoots just about every time he gets the puck. Playing him on his off side is lunacy because it forces him to play the game on his backhand all the time. Maybe let him play the left side with a good defender like Murph or even better,move him to make room for a young D-man. |
