Kane very well could be the greatest passer I have ever seen in my lifetime. Vision of the great one and the ability to perfectly put the puck where it needs to be ready to be shot like Oats. Showtime has a lot more good years left here!!!! I have no desire for him to go anywhere, and its awesome that all opposing fan bases hate him makes it that much better he is a Hawk!! I admire the loyal STH you remain and the more positive/yet realist viewpoint you add my friend......no,I greatly admire it! I've gone a more whiny/bitchy route myself and that wasn't the guy I was five years ago when my dust-ups were always in defense of the Org but the Org's disappointed me for some time now. Kane said it would be an honor and a privilege to finish his career in my beloved home town when all others do is tear it down and it'd be and honor and a privilege to have him!!

That Kane has 86 points when his line is the only line opponents have to worry about is indeed IMPRESSIVE!!! I really do want to see Kane traded so he can get another shot at the Cup. I would immediately be a fan of that team. It would be fun to again be enthusiastic about these games. I admit to selfishly enjoying the entertainment I get from watching the 88/12/17 line or even JT when he has linemates with more than a handful of goals between em to set up but we're at the point where a good return for the four players 'MIGHT' be better for the team's future..........'IF' that return is utilized MUCH MUCH better than it has been in the past jack. I have a LOT of fun watching former players now my friend,it was Joker and Vinny against Leddy and the Saadfather Thursday night in Buffalo, till I switched to watch Hags in Tampa,TT with the Canes,Keith with the Oil,Hartman with the Wild and Schmaltz with the Yotes.....lot more of em goin' tonight too......a few more next year will be okay with me. You do realize that in your second paragraph with the exception of Keith and Leddy the good players you mentioned were all drafted by Stan Bowman.

Gotta draft a few decent guys in 12 years. Any player taken since the summer of '10' was DUMBASS' pick,I know that and I've never held that against the player. I believe Hags signed as a free agent but I get your point,Talon hasn't drafted for Chicago in 12 years.........so,that leaves only K&T. .

You do realize that in your second paragraph with the exception of Keith and Leddy the good players you mentioned were all drafted by Stan Bowman. and then given up on and traded away by Stan Bowman. It's just so many things v........the more you peel the Bowman onion, the more you CRY! Why trade for Vinnie last year, have the local kid who started here, bleeds Black&Red,goes hard EVERY shift, had 12pts in his 17gms here and just let him walk. Is there any doubt he'd sign 1year 1M deals to stay and play here as long as the team wanted him? Let's give Connolly 3.5M to play in Rockford instead of 1M to a guy who'd take a bullet for the crest........what's that matter to a DUMBASS? He signed a 1 year with Buffalo for 1M and has 12gls 24 pts in 57gms this year and has averaged .42PPG for his career, the only knock against him is he gets a bit dinged up but he gets back in there too. He's not a difference maker w/o a doubt but who would be on this team, what a guy like him is..... One tough little bastard unafraid to stick his nose in anywhere. You want fore-check? Vinnie'll give ya fore-check. Back-check too! A guy who could show younger players what it takes to stick in the league and what a night-in.night-out commitment it takes regardless of ability.....he's livin' proof! These guys mean a LOT to a locker room, the stars often need a catalyst type guy to rally the troops. The return was good but can anyone say losin' Hags didn't take a lotta life out of the team? There were 100 other reasons but the fact still remains the team hasn't won a PO game since Shaw was traded in 16. Nothing was gonna stop the collapse of 17 but I bet Shaw woulda had a LOT to say in that room after game two if he was still on the team against the Preds. You can trade these guys(the 2nd we got for Shaw= D-Cat) but you gotta replace that catalyst type player when you do. Another stinky layer of DUMBASS' onion that I noticed this morning,I thought we got the BJ's own 1st round pick back in the Jones deal last summer but no,it was the 1st they got from TB.......beautiful. I knew we traded down in the 1st round last year along with giving up this year's 1st but I didn't know it was all the way down to 31st.........only DUMBASS......I swear to God!

While it is good to see former Hawks succeed, for me, it is not the same as the enjoyment I would get seeing Kane again seriously compete for the Cup. For example, seeing Kane and Panera chasing it for the Rags would be good in my book.

I only prefer the latter because I think he is so good that he deserves to be in the spotlight and play in the meaningful games at the end of a season rather than rack up 100 points during the regular season for a total shit show team.

I love what Kane has done. A generational talent. Goes to prove that you can get a solid player in the #1 selection slot. I hope Kane keeps up his production and beats Modano as the highest scoring US horn player. I’m not a fan of how Canadian Brett Hull has that record…… kind of. I don’t think he should be the highest scoring US player. There should be no distinction between US born and US player. It should be born. If Hull can’t be the president, he can’t have that record!
But Kane should be able to crack Morano’s record and if he does that, Hull’s not too far ahead of Modano. Kane is currently 215 points behind Hull. I think if Kane can average 50 points a year over the next 4, he’s easily gonna do it. If he gets one more 100 point season. Then an 80 point year, he’ll be right on target. Much more achievable then Ovechkin getting another 160 goals.
Here’s to Kane getting 216 more points!!!

Walked the dog tonight and was thinking about early 88 the 2009 playoffs here comes this kid whacking the back of players knees mouthing off to everyone on the ice constantly getting the last slash in . Knuckleheads try to run at him and he rips out there hearts scoring goals. This kid dosnt stop next series he gets into the oppositions head so much that the great Iginla complains to the press that the other team is being mean to him priceless!! By the time this kid is done in 2010 the only more hated player by fan bases is Sid. For most of his time he got the less talented players to play with his point production took a hit because of it and not a word out of him. Saturday I watch the kid still doing all those things in the crest that I love. 2014 when the Kings won RAGS fans for the most part were overjoyed because as they put it at least they didnt have to loose to that piece of shit Kane. This fan base should now see 88 in there jersey??? I say no F the rag fans F breadman for that matter also.

kane on pace for 97 points (his 3rd best ever total) and 73 assists (his best ever total) playing on this current version of the blackhawks (.407 is by far the worst in his tenure) should be earning more press than it's getting.

Maybe this is just me. But Kane hasn’t looked all that great this year. Yet, he’s closing in on 100 points. I’m not saying he looked bad. But he just didn’t seem to have that “Kane” flair to him. Whatever the case. I hope like he gets a chance to play with better players soon. It would be a shame to see him go through a rebuild. And this is no slight at all to Dcat. I mean the overall team the last 5 years. The terrible defense, the terrible line juggling. The constant roster turnover. Everything.
I think since Kane has grown up and left the over indulgence behind. The guy has been on a tear. The last 5 years have been quite impressive for him, he has roughly 420 points in the last 5 years. And two of those seasons have been severely cut short due to Covid. They missed out on roughly 40 games the past two years. I’d have to think he’d have at least another 50 points to that resume. Maybe even 60 the way he’s played. I’d have to think that there’s a lot more in the tank for him. Hopefully he gets a realistic shot at breaking some records!!!

It will be interesting to see if he has any type of offseason procedure.

Kane/Cat/Strome shoulda been a line ALL year not just the 2nd half of it,Kane had Tyler Johnson as a center early on for God's sake. He's looked dinged up at times but this'll still be his 3rd best point total ever with a career high in assists, his goal total would also be higher if he played with Strome and Cat all yerar.....both are good passers.

It seems he’s had a lot of big games. But I’ve noticed some games where he’s just not even awake. And it wasn’t one game. It was a lot. Maybe he has a lingering injury? Some days it’s good and some days it’s bad. Maybe it is just the “motions” due to things that you say? No real centerman, Beach scandal and Kane kinda being called out by Beach. Scambo leaving, having a baby. Maybe it all wore him down? My point is that I feel that he very well could have led the league in scoring this year if a few things went in a better direction. Cuz the games where he was on, he was once again the guy we always loved. The generational talent you wait forever to entertain you!!!
