this is hella awesome...
Kaner with his best Joe Pera impersonation.
I'd recommend this one to anyone. it isn't Letterkenny funny, but it makes me laugh. maybe because he really captures the born and raised UP folk I've met throughout the years.... this is one clip, there are 2 seasons of the show.

Post #5 in the patrick kane thread? Something not right with that.
Anyways...should easily be another feather in his cap in a couple or 3 years (barring injury). Was a bit surprised to see bossy on that list tbh. Always thought of him as just a goal scorer.

Past memory and I wish I could find the video on it. When Patrick Kane first came into the league as an 18 year old, they did an ad with Kane and a kid. At the end of the ad the kid looks at Kane and says: We're almost the same age. Thought that was pretty hilarious. Can't remember if this was a commercial, or something the Hawks brass put together and showed on the jumbotron.

Another story. Patrick Kane bought a condo in the hotel/residential complex I worked at. I was not involved in the meetings when he was signing the contract on his condo, but was told by my boss, who was Director of Finance, that when he first went into the meeting, Patricks parents were there. And everyone thought it was the parents who were there to purchase the condo and their son was living with them. They had no idea who Patrick Kane was at the time, and were surprised to find out it was him buying it
Sad part of the story, I had the Patrick Kane Calder figurine and lent it to the residential manager, so she'd have it in her office for them to see. When I left that job, they denied I ever gave them a figurine and so I lost that part of my memorabilia. Still pisses me off to this day!

It's been a pleasure to watch him grow up and now he's amongst some of the greats in a lot of categories.

For Kane to be dealing with a hip issue it's crazy that he's not "slowing down" and just had his best month ever...statistically, and set a franchise record. And I can see him being devastated by this thread and wanna be traded because of it lol Maybe in Toews 1000th game Kane can get 3 or more assists and tie or set another record, but it's in Florida.

I decided to take a look at how Kane lines up with the rest of the league in his points total. Every single guy that is ahead of him, except for two, is on a playoff team. The two are J.T. Miller of Vancouver and Kyle Connor of Winnipeg, each of whom is only a couple of points ahead of Kane. But, even tho they are not on current playoff teams, they do play for teams that have winning records. There is Kane at #15. You have to go all the way down to #35 with Timo Meier of the Sharks before you find a guy below Kane who is not on a playoff team and he has 15 points fewer than Kane.
To me, Kane deserves some serious applause for his performance and accomplishment this year while playing on a shit team that, for the most part, does not help him one bit in bulking up his totals, altho, obviously there are some goals scored from his passes. Nice going, Patrick Kane. I hope he can finish his career on a decent team and have a few more shots at another Cup, instead of hanging around in the crap that is Chicago. . UPDATE: After last night's 3 point performance, Kane moved up to 86 points and the #13 position and only has Miller of a non-playoff team ahead of him. But, remember that Miller is playing for a winning team not a shit team.

I would immediately be a fan of that team. It would be fun to again be enthusiastic about these games.

I am with you Jack, unfortunately the way this team is constructed right now, prospect pool not overwhelming, essentially carrying other teams dead cap weight (hello Johson, Connolly, college phenom), no #1 pick this year or lost to next year in a deeper draft and unless Kaner plays into his late 30's or 40's might be hard to see another cup. We definitely have been spoiled and while some like to nitpick his defense or question his hustle, I have said it before once he hangs them up he will go down as the best US born player EVER. We also have to remember he is putting up close to career best numbers while not at 100%. Image if we had a better team playing ahead, a lot more opportunities for #88 to rack up points and more Hawks wins. Again, what a shame that Bowman has robbed us the fans of seeing both Kaner and Toews continue playing on championship teams or competing for the cup their entire careers with the Hawks.

I admit to selfishly enjoying the entertainment I get from watching the 88/12/17 line or even JT when he has linemates with more than a handful of goals between em to set up but we're at the point where a good return for the four players 'MIGHT' be better for the team's future..........'IF' that return is utilized MUCH MUCH better than it has been in the past jack. I have a LOT of fun watching former players now my friend,it was Joker and Vinny against Leddy and the Saadfather Thursday night in Buffalo, till I switched to watch Hags in Tampa,TT with the Canes,Keith with the Oil,Hartman with the Wild and Schmaltz with the Yotes.....lot more of em goin' tonight too......a few more next year will be okay with me.

Kane very well could be the greatest passer I have ever seen in my lifetime. Vision of the great one and the ability to perfectly put the puck where it needs to be ready to be shot like Oats. Showtime has a lot more good years left here!!!! I have no desire for him to go anywhere, and its awesome that all opposing fan bases hate him makes it that much better he is a Hawk!!
