With three back-backs left,does this mean Lanks only sees three more starts? I got to think it will depend on what MAF wants to do. If he feels up to it, let him. If he wants to play, who are these coaches to tell him what to do. I would think assessing young GT's is more important than appeasing MAF but he is a Black Hawk's legend! |

When career is over, he will hold many American born records and arguably the best the US born player EVER. top guy modano played in 1499 games, 1374 pts., .92 points/game average. start of this season kane was at 1029 games, 1088 pts., 1.06 points/game average. 4 more 82 game seasons at a point a game puts him at 1357 games and 1416 points. definitely doable if he stays healthy and has linemates that are holding hockey sticks. |

Chicago Blackhawks team physician Dr. Michael Terry today released the following medical update:
Forward Tyler Johnson and Defenseman Connor Murphy will not practice today (concussion protocol).
At least not a neck issue for Tyler. Glad to hear Tazer was OK. I thought with those shots to the head he took was going to sideline him.

So who does JT get now,we know Duck and his 8 goals are a lock for top six minutes,there HAS to be another big,young pussy that Toews will have to fight to protect.......I'd name one but there's so many to choose from.

What a shocker! Guess we knew even before the 1-9 start this was going to be the case. And they'll probably finish the way they atarted. What an ugly season. If they win the draft lotto they better make a lot of changes in the offseason and hope guys play with more structure and have career years or Columbus is going to get a great pick, hopefully not Bedard. |

If they win the draft lotto they better make a lot of changes in the offseason and hope guys play with more structure and have career years or Columbus is going to get a great pick, hopefully not Bedard. I know this isn’t popular. But I’d try and trade Dcat to the BJs for the that pick back and Kent Johnson. I think that’s a reasonable asking price for Dcat. If the Hawks get the first pick this year or even the 2nd, gotta stay with the plan and rebuild properly. The BJs seem like a team that would make that trade as Dcat fits the mold of their age demographic for that team. Hawks could use those assets more than Dcat at this point. Getting 2 for one is a quicker way to rebuild. I fear getting a generational talent like Bedard and ruining it like the oilers have. Gotta be able to surround him with some other talents. It would be nice to have this years pick back, and a top 5 drafted player. Then head into next looking to get a top 2 pick. Get Lafreniere for Kane, and hopefully get Byram for Toews. That’s would right the rebuild much much quicker. Again. It sucks to lose the legends here. It really does. But this ain’t working. And it’s not gonna. Cannot keep going in this direction. It’d be nice to see moves like the above made and have some type of hope moving forward!!! |

Or to Detroit for Edvinsson and Cossa. Brandt Clarke is gonna be a solid dman. I like what he brings. I don’t think they give up Byfield. I think the furthest they go is Turcotte and Clarke. And I don’t think I do that. I’m not sold on Turcotte being an NHL player. Sabastian Cossa is huge. No doubt. I watched him live at a wings game, I had a loop hole to get across the border for work and went and caught a pre season game. But the kid has horrible lateral movement. I still noticed that in the WJC. He was the 3rd goalie for team Canada. Not saying he can’t get better. But he just seems to be big and not much else. I like the fact of having our own picks. At least this way the Hawks are in charge of where they can pick, and not hoping someone else loses. However, I love the ideas. I really hope the new management has these in mind too!!! |
