Regina wins game 6 to even the series at 3. Bedard with 11 goals 8 assists thru 6 games. it's not like they're huge favorites. even with bedard they're major underdogs. regina (.529%) finished 29 points behind saskatoon (.743%) in the regular season. i reckon ikely 98% of the hockey world is rooting for regina in game 7. anyways...just another bedard goal from game 6. he scored one the other day busting his way between 2 defensemen like peter mahovlich used to do 40 years ago. |

No call on Colorado at the end of 3rd, then questionable call against Anaheim and Colorado scores 3rd straight power play goal to win it.
Really looked like the refs wanted Colorado to win.
Oh well, at least Anaheim got 1 point

worst penalty call i've seen for a while on that blatant dive by rodrigues in o/t.
well...i'm glad the duckies got a point. if my internet had gone down earlier it most likely would've been 2 points.
a bit premature to call this a 2 horse race now but we're getting there.

In a perverted kind of way, it's kind've interesting flipping the standings upside down and watching them battle it out for the top bottom spot.
Still...looking fwd to the days when i can cheer for this team the way a team is meant to be cheered for.

sad to say bedard's regina pats team was eliminated from the WHL playoffs.
he had an assist in a 4-1 loss.
saskatoon sold out it's 14,500 seat rink.

I saw it on the Regina Pats website. So I Went back to the site. After 6 games they showed Bedard with 11 goals and 8 assists. I posted it earlier in the thread. Now it's showing 10 goals, so can only guess they changed a goal they had credited him with to an assist |

A win for Columbus tonight that is not a shootout win puts the Hawks in the position of being able to finish last by simply not winning any of the rest of their games, as I understand the rules.
Make that 2-1 Jackets with 4 minutes left in the 1st.

I did not want to add that, but that is correct. Could drop to #4 and if someone below jumps them in the lottery, the slide continues  . Reminiscent with the Ovechkin and Malkin 2004 draft, we end up with Cam Barker at #3 by winning a meaningless game. I hope that is not the case this year. |
