I’m agreeing with splitting up HalI and Bertuzzi. I think all you’d need to do is swap Bertuzzi and Teravainen. If Bedard centres than Bert can line up at LW and Kurashev can be the RW, the position where he by far had his best production and yet it’s the one position he hasn’t been allowed to play yet this year. TT can fit anywhere and that combo with Foligno and Hall might actually work. Looks like Hall and Bertuzzi are finally split up, it happened during the Seattle game but the lines are really mixed up before the Vancouver game. Donato-Bedard-Smith Hall-Kurashev-Foligno Teravainen-Dickinson-Anderson Maroon-Reichel-Bertuzzi Unfortunately Martinez and Brodie are dressed and Allan is sitting. Not sure why Kaiser is playing after taking out Mrazek for the GWG vs Seattle, some players are held accountable and others aren't. I wish Richardson would pick a lane and ride it for awhile. Every game it’s just more line combinations, it’s just dart board coaching at this point.

As to the question of why Kaiser is playing - from my viewings Kaiser has been consistently the 2nd best d-man behind only Vlasic and it ain't even close. The question I would ask is why is Allan sitting instead of Brodie - oh, that's right - Brodie is a veteran and apparently it's more important to play veterans than to get a young player with potential to be part of the rebuild valuable experience.

Kaiser was paired with Jones for a bit but worked his way to the 3rd pair, not sure what you're seeing. But he is consistent with turnovers and getting caught out of position. When a dman skates into the blue paint and takes his goalie out position, that shows how unaware he is. I've played D for 4 decades now and if I see a guy behind the goal line with someone in front I'd cover the passing lane by putting my stick on the ice with one knee down, or tie up the guy in front, not skate backwards into my goalie. And I'll never forget how he lost his stick in back to back games and totally put himself out of position to get his stick, you never do that when the pucks in your end. I'd love to eat crow but I don't feel confident when he's one the ice. And zero goals with only 1 assist is bad.
