I wouldn't mind seeing Nylander sent down for a bit. Either way, I hope they replace him on the Toews line. Nylander has been given enough time to showcase what he can bring to the table. There has been times very few I might add he has shown he can be a highly talented player in the NHL, but it’s not enough to keep giving him chance after chance because he is Stan’s Boy when other players on the team have rode the pine for lesser reasons. |

That’s my boy Ozzy, he’s not usually sideways. Don’t know why the pics did that. Anyways, he’s a hybrid wolf. Half husky. Not the safest dog to get. But he’s actually very gentle with kids and with us. He already bagged a coyote and a dozen rabbits. But he’s turning into a suck and I love it.
My last guy was also a husky, he was the love of my life, we lost him in 2015, Bandit was his name, or Bando. We got Ozzy 6 weeks after he passed, and I never thought I’d love again like that....... but here we are.
RIP KIRA DOG!!!

Thats our boy Charlie, he is one crazy ass golden retriever, he is great with the family and amazing with the kids, I lost my first Golden he was only 5 of a brain aneurysm.

Here are my pups, Brandy and Sonny, protecting the Stanley Cup in 2015! I lost Brandy February 2018. Sonny turned 10 this past May

Seems like a guy who can do more than one thing. sucks that caggs went down and i hope this concussion problem isn't something that dogs him the rest of his career. but if there's a silver lining, we now get a chance to see a new guy show his stuff. he's not some raw rookie...he's 26 and he's coming off his best season ever in the top league in sweden. hopefully that translates to some success at the nhl level. there were a few teams courting him before he came here, and i don't think the hawks signed him to play in rockford. |

I really liked his versatility and 2way game in the preseason and it's nice to see he was a professional and went to Rockford and worked hard. Not get rid of Gus and get Holm up here. |

Wedin signed just a few days before Kubalik back in May, either to push or replace Kampf maybe, but then Kampf showed up in great shape and has been pretty effective. So then Bowman thinks he’s a genius and trades for Nylander. Now Wedin doesn’t have a spot. But one mans bad luck opens the door for another and now Wedin gets his shot. I like Cags for what he brings but I hope Wedin is better. Anything to make the club more competitive. |

I've had similar conversations with a friend who's a Ducks fan and hates their GM, Bob Murray, that he doesn't trade for a guy or doesn't go after a FA and such. So I ask him if he had direct line to Bob and know he didn't try to make a trade or sign a FA. Maybe the other teams wanted the moon for a player or only offered 6th round pick. We don't know that SB didn't try to trad him but maybe the other team only offered garbage in return. GM's don't usually make lopsided deals. Sometimes it ends up like that. Possibly other teams didn't see the long term value of Gus. He never did anything in his career to make one think he suddenly blossomed into a superstar in one year. That's where Gus needs to reach the same level and beyond if he thinks he deserves a big contract next year. |

The time to have traded Gus was before the TDL when the Hawks PP was at their peak and so was his shooting.
But make that trade maybe would upset the apple cart for the Hawks PP and their chances for the play off push.
Hawks did finish just 6 pts out of a spot. As much as we dislike SB and some of his moves, that job has
got to be one of the most stressful and thankless jobs from my perspective.
