Hopefully we hear Gus is traded today and Danault is back. With Keith tweaking his groin, we are going to need a skating like Boqvist to replace him.

Seems a strange move. He does have 60 games, leftie and he’s big so hopefully he can slow those speedsters down by pasting them to the boards. Give him a shot and see what happens. And sit Nylander, juggle the lines and play Wedin. He’s hungry.

And I don't get why everyone's so down on Nylander, no he's not producing but he's had some great looks. He's very skilled and still a rookie, seems pointless to sit him or sending him to Rockford, I'd move him to the 3rd line and play him with Kampf and Kubalik. Move Dach to the wing with Toews and Saad, he made a couple rookie mistakes when playing with Kane and Debrincat but that's because he was more worried about getting Kane the puck. He's smart and learns fast. Plus it's not like anyone else on the top6 never made mistakes, great pass by Kane to open the scoring yesterday, to bad Colorado scored.

Yesterday even when the Hawks got down 2-0 on 2 bonehead turn overs, they were possessing the puck and had some chances. We got down 2-1 on a nice little pass from Carpentar to Smith who was were he was supposed to be, in front of the net. Then Gus kills the momentum with a dumb penalty, now 3-1. But still had a couple more chances to make it 3-2 before the end of the first. That was the game for me. They have not been able to really come from behind this season consistently. Playing from behind is not a strength of this team yet.

We know what they can do so it is a good time to give McCoshen a shot. At 6'3" 218lbs even if he tripped and fell on someone he will cause damage and he adds muscle to help out Shaw.

hate to say it but i've got a hunch the organization will hire a new H.C. before they hire a new assistant.

What a train wreck this team is becoming. Very sad to witness this and just think we won a Cup a few years ago...

Gotta agree GT could allow Bowman some face if Colliton would accept the job as assistant although that doesn't make a lot of sense. It would still allow Stan to save a little face and Colliton would still have a job.

It would still allow Stan to save a little face and Colliton would still have a job. Colliton will get paid this year and next. He’s not staying around. The players have not responded well to him. I know many look at it as black and white. But it’s not that simple. Sometimes a guy just doesn’t fit in whether that be a player or a coach. It’s best to let them move on and you also. Colliton only looks good when he just stands there and let’s the team do what they want. I think GT may be right. If Stan has to let JC go. There’s a good to great chance he’s not far behind. I know for a fact that the Hawks have reached out and have talked to other candidates whether it be coach or GM is still yet to be determined. They have for sure reached out to a certain person working in the OHL. Now that doesn’t mean this person will be hired or anything like that, but they have reached out. I still don’t see Stan lasting very long, and the teams contingency has fallen apart with Crawford. So I could really see them either promoting Brookbank to interim coach. The players love him, and he could ride out the year with Norm Macivor as interim GM. Assistants can be found very quickly. On thing is for sure, change is needed. And Q wasn’t the problem. It’s just time to start the healing!!!

There may soon be a coach available. Since all the ones available are no longer viable. Crawford, Peters, Babcock.....
The one who's going to be fired soon is Claude Julian of the Habs. Should the Hawks go for him since no one is happy on how things are?

Imagine the embarrassment if they had replaced Colliton with Crawford and then this came out.

He's pretty much won everywhere he's been, Montreal (well at least the first time around), New Jersey, Boston. Can't be any worse off then what we're looking at now.

If Caligula, Strome, Keith and Shaw are still out Thursday/Friday, the Hawks can't bring anyone up. No cap space.

Should the Hawks go for him since no one is happy on how things are? No. Stuff will come out on him too. The best bet is to go interim for the rest of the year. I’m guessing every day that one of the old school coaches get called out. We’ve heard about Crawford, Peters, Babcock, Sutters, and the most will grow. Cheli told Franzens story last night on spittin chicklets. Babcock is a total dick. Let him drive off a cliff now. I still think Brookbank would be phenomenal for now. He’s the type of guy that could be a great coach!!!

They did an emergency call-up yesterday for Lehner. Now if Keith comes back and say Strome, Cags and Shaw don't, they can suit all 7 D and play Gus on wing, then his D play won't get in the way.

I just read on NHL.com news that one of the Crawford accusers is Sean Avery. He claims Crawford kicked in in the butt because of a two-many men penalty while they were with the Kings. I guess that might have been what Avery deserved for all of the crap he's given to most of the people he's known. If you want an up-date on Avery, just google him and read about his crazy life. I wouldn't put any trust into anything that guy says about anybody.

I have to admit, I honestly can’t believe that the owner of this organization who spent millions and millions of dollars to get this team back from total darkness for many many years is sitting on his pardon the pun, his fat ass doing fuck all about the state of this team. As a fan I have enough of this bullshit. I will always be a die hard fan, but what I am witnessing is total nonsense from the heads of this organization. In the mid eighties when the team was on a total decline, I had high hopes, things can only get better, but the reality is, the current situation is way worse, things will only get worse before we see the light at the end of the tunnel. I will not spend another moment watching this amateur coach and clown as GM run this to the ground, until Stan and JC are gone I will be taking a break from this total shit show.
