If he's put with JT I guess they want to tank for a high pick, I know BigT would like that but I hate seeing Toews and Kanes careers have another wasted year. I hope Sikura is on the bottom 6 and he's only called up because Montreal wants him in a package for Gus 🤞 I’ve said this before. It’s either Stan really is this dumb, or he has the reigns to tank this team and build it up his way. I really don’t think he’s tanking, why spend to the cap limit if you’re tanking? I feel he truly believes that guys like Sikura are good and playing with Toews and Kane they look better. This team will never get better with decisions like this one. I also hate wasting their careers, but we have to think that their careers are over here. Unfortunately, we’ll see more of the same moves which will end in the same results. The coaching is awful, the roster moves are awful and the core 4 have to carry a bag of sht again. Anyone who “recalls” Sikura should seriously be out of a job. This is NOT funny anymore!!! Probably why they shut down the BHB. Too many people on the SB thread there calling for his head. Made him cry a lot.

You've been wanting to see Dach with JT and Saad since the year started and I agree but don't be surprised if we see more of the 'Sikura experiment'! If he's put with JT I guess they want to tank for a high pick, I know BigT would like that but I hate seeing Toews and Kanes careers have another wasted year. I hope Sikura is on the bottom 6 and he's only called up because Montreal wants him in a package for Gus 🤞 I just don't think the Org shares our desire for a Gus trade......how can a team trade a "gift from God". The more I see of Gilbert, the more I like and the more I realize he goes back when Keith's ready because I believe Gus is here to stay and GOD...….do I want to be proven wrong! I'd understand the Sikura fetish if he was a 1st rounder with some size who's excelled at the AHL level but he's a puny,6th round pick who's been mediocre at best in the 'A'...……...WTF!

TSN reported last week that talks between the Hawks and Habs were heating up and they want Gus. We can only hope Stan does it. Gilbert and Boqvist should've been on this team since game 1. There no way a guy who's knocking down guys who're hard to hit and fought one of the toughest guys in the NHL and had a draw, should be sent back down.

There are a few kids down there that OTH and some of the boys talk about......can they possibly be any LESS suited to a call up? Why not see Hagel or Entwhistle for a few games? What does this hurt and a call up keeps those other kids more engaged. Sikura draws in with Wedin going down so the question is,where's he play...…...I bet he gets Nylanders spot.

Dylan Sikura recalled from Rocford…...onward and upward my friends! HEY...….JT could get a new linemate!LOFL!!! I threw up a little when I read Wedin is sent down and Sikura is up. He hasn't proved he can play in the NHL so he better not get a top6 spot. Stick him with Smith and Carpenter.
I threw up A LOT when I read it. Put Sikura and Nylander on a line together, we can watch both of them avoid any and all contact for the whole game. Stan is a moron.

I am not sure why they wouldn't give Hagel a chance. He's already catching up to Sikura in goals, after taking a little time to adjust.

Maybe Kubalik will finally have someone to get him the puck. The article did quote Colliton about how he felt about the Toews, Saad, and Sikura line last year. I expect to see them together some time.

Proof Colliton should be fired. He said Sikura didn't necessarily score, NO, he absolutely didn't score, not one damn goal playing on the top line for a lot of games.

Two goals in his first three games, two (both in the same game) in his last twenty three. I wonder who wanted Sikura up, Colliton or Bowman?

Nylander has 30lbs on Sikura, younger, and isn't afraid of contact, despite what some people say. He's getting good looks but it's not going in. Vs the Canes Nylander rushed in to hit his guy and created a turnover then got it back to Gus, who turned it over to Aho for an empty net, even though Aho should've been in the box for cross checking Kane from behind.

Keith and Shaw were placed on the IR, retroactive Nov 29th and 30th. Now they can bring up the savior, Dylan Sikura............. You called it!

As I've mentioned before, any one one Stan's golden children will be given every opportunity to succeed--even far past their Use-by date. It may be slightly too early to tell, but Sikura might just be one of those guys who tops out in the A but can't make the jump...but GM's like Stan simply won't see that and try to give them every opportunity. As sad as it is to think about maybe the time is up for the old core--and they won't get another one. But also think about it this way: Mikita, Hall, Hull, etc. only got 1. Toews/Kane/Keith/Seabrook/Hossa got 3. I consider that a victory. I want more (who doesn't), but I'll take the 3 because some teams/players get 0.

Hawks recall Boqvist and Highmore, send Shaw to LTIR...…..CRAP! Didn't hear about anyone going back,I get the extra forward in Highmore but doesn't this make a bit of a log-jam at D with 8? Maybe Keith will miss more time than originally thought but didn't Maata just have the Flu?

A guy runs your guy and someone sticks up for him and gets a penalty? You gladly kill it--it's pack mentality 101.

I doubt Gilbert was being punished. As he skated off the ice for the penalty JC gave him a tap on the shoulder and you can see he said "Nice job". The problem was the Yotes responded better to the fight than the Hawks did. We were up 3-1 at that point, we should have killed that penalty and scored ourselves.

That is the type of penalty a team “should” have no question about and should bust their humps to try and kill. If there was a failure in that whole equation, it was the inability to kill the penalty, not Gilbert’s actions.

That sucks hearing Shaws on the long term, I wish he played like last season and didn't hit so much and fight this season, but that's in his nature, especially playing on home ice in Chicago. Nice to see another righty on D, hopefully they actually play him. Maybe this means Gus and or Koekkoek is gone 🤞

I'm with many maybe they're looking to make a trade but to where and for whom? There is no cap space. The Perlini Ragula trade was in all likelihood a good trade. Stan has painted himself into a corner there are very and I mean very few trade options or him. I've tried to find a trade option where he could win or break even His NMC's have cost the team dearly unless he can talk someone into an agreement. I don't see that happening either.

I will take that when he is, Bo or Gil will be sent back.
