I dunno if you ever saw 'the sound of my voice' CNN aired on New Years day but I believe it's on youtube…….incredible documentary about an incredible lady!

Sitting back and listening to the 2 Reo Speedwagon albums from 74 and 75 that most people never even heard of because Kevin Cronin left to do his solo crap of love ballads. It's really hard to decide if bringing Cronin back was the right choice. When he did come back we got REO cow album which a lot of is on the Live you get what you play for followed by you can tune a piano but can't tune a fish. Both great albums but then it all went downhill as far as rock. A lot like Journey and Styx.
Not sure as to what sites you can find these albums but Apple music has them and I have no problem paying $9.99 per month to find so much music I could never find on other sites like spotify. But if you get a chance check out REO Lost in a dream (74) and The way we were (75) the difference is between rock ballads and rock Blues.

Oops wrong title it's This time we mean it from 75 started early with the beers and love the wife cuz she's bringing me another case! She loves summer and hockey in summer even more. You can just sit and stay outside drink beer and watch hockey. I'll sit in the house and watch what I want just make sure you have dinner ready for me.😁

Ok another little known band now I'm listening to. Chicagoland known if you ever went to Haymakers, Thirsty Whale or Fitzgerald's. Off Broadway. Crazy ass local band that always got people dancing on the tables or bar. Live at Fitzgerald's is a great album and now playing!

This is something I'll never regret. I had a Deep Purple Machine Head picture disc album where the album cover was printed on the vinyl. It came with a clear cover and poster inside. I already had the album but seen this and thought it was cool back in the 70's. Since I had it I never opened it and was still sealed. Came across a Viet Nam vet looking for donations for a silent auction to help their VFW. I already had record stores (yes they still exist and of 6 years ago) were offering me $175.00 for it. I gave him this and he freaked. It never sold because when everybody came in they had stories to tell about the album and Deep Purple stories in general. They have it sitting on a shelf behind the bar as a conversation piece but will auction it off at the right time. It is rare really rare and hope someday it can keep a VFW open a little longer.

if you don't like this song well, we can't be friends i guess. poor old joe was dead about a year and a half later.
back at the start of the 80's i was just a pissant prairie pisshead in edmonton pretending i was a city boy but i did know 2 people who said they saw old joe barf on stage (at a bar, small time) and get carried off. maybe they were both at the same bar but if i remember right it might've been 2 different shows.
anyways....i love this guy. anyone who can pick himself up and dust himself after hitting rock bottom is okay. i'm not sure i could.

You say you want more 'Chuck',well......even if you didn't... www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQEWsG5ivZgChuck Berry toured England back in '72' and played with the best backup bands of his career.

multi-pronged question.
to canadians in general...i was 14 and still on the farm when this came out. even at 14 i thought this was my first "serious" album. what about the rest of you canadians???
2nd prong.....was this a popular album, or even band....in the U.S. in '74?? just curious.
edit: oops...forgot something.
