i made this post after mcdonough was fired. i have no reason to doubt ms. faulkner's capabilities but this wasn't exactly what i had in mind. She'll be just the PR person for the Hawks. The face at business partner meetings and dealings. All the day to day hockey stuff will be fucked up by SB still. not worried at all about ms. faulkner. no reason to think she won't succeed. she'll join buffalo's kim pegula as the only 2 women presidents in the nhl. it's the other guy. i wanted a hockey guy, not a bean counter. not sure we got either here tbh. |

My guess is Bowman is promoted out of GM. On one hand McDonut did a hell of a lot to market the 'hawks...but it did spill over into shenanigans. I was wondering about this as well.... if they promote him to team president, I will be certain he has nudes of Rocky or something along those lines.... welp....... 1/2 prez counts, so now I know...... |
