TV shows and movies where an actor is wearing a Blackhawk jersey. Plus rock bands where one of the musicians wears one. I've seen Bears jerseys before in TV shows. I can think of one movie I saw on TV years ago where I think the lead male actor wore a white Blackhawk jersey. The storyline involved a hockey player. I'll have to see what I can find. Clark Griswald 00....name the movie, I named the character!

I hope this reply is not too late to save you. I would advise you NOT to watch reruns of Home Improvement. www.tshirtsonscreen.com/home-improvement-detroit-red-wings/

I thought of his name immediately but thought for sure he had played more than 2 games as a hawk so i figured he wasn't the guy. Turns out it was the guy. Coulda' swore he had a longer career here.
And no, it's not a former u.s. president either.

Always thought of him as a North Star.

Many years ago, a visiting goalie was frustrating the Hawks by grabbing all their dump-ins behind the net and quickly shooting the puck back to his forwards at the blue line. Finally, the right D-man decided to teach him a lesson. He grabbed the puck and made like he was going to shoot it around the boards, but changed the angle on his stick and banked the puck off the boards and into the opposing net. The panic and embarrassment on the goalie's face was priceless. And the name of the D-man is.....?

no idea, but dick redmond popped into my head for some reason. Nope...Behn Wilson never would've guessed wilson. behn wilson also holds the dual record of most consecutive punches landed in the worst fight ever. : ) lots of old familiar combatants in this video. i was a bit surprised how good he was offensively, i remembered him more of a goon. picked 6th overall surprised me a bit as well. his 2 best seasons were 63 points (and 237 pim) in 77 games with philly and 51 points in 69 games with chicago. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behn_Wilson

i don't think i was ever aware of this. After playing in the Alberta Senior Hockey League (ASHL), Kaleta joined the NHL with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1941–42. He recorded 28 points in 47 games as a rookie that season. During his tenure with the Black Hawks, he is credited with having begun the tradition of the hat trick during the 1945–46 season, when he entered a shop in Toronto looking for a new hat. Without enough money to buy one, he reached an agreement with shop owner Sammy Taft that if he scored three goals that night in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, he would earn a free hat. In fact, that night, on January 26, 1946, he scored four goals against the Leafs. While there are other accounts of the hat trick's origin in hockey, Kaleta's story is the one recognized by the Hockey Hall of Fame.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Kaleta

There must be a webpage that chronicles pro athletes’ call ups to war - probably a lot played on their branch’s sports teams if not otherwise in combat.

Blackhawks have never had their own 70 goal scorer but we've had 2 that scored 70 or more with other teams. One imo is a lot easier than the other but this shouldn't stump too many here. Can you name either or both?
