Blackhawks have never had their own 70 goal scorer but we've had 2 that scored 70 or more with other teams. One imo is a lot easier than the other but this shouldn't stump too many here. Can you name either or both? As I was reading another post here, Phil Esposito is the other. I did not Google either one.

Can you name either or both? Pretty sure one is Bernie Nichols Wouldn't have expected the hard one first so well done.

Yeah I just don’t think of Bernie Nichols as a Blackhawk because he was a short timer.

Not your quintessential tough guy but he racked up his share of penalty minutes. He was a bigger player in his day with a good moustache. It's going back a few years but overall i'd take a ted bulley or 2 on this squad every year. Yeah, loved the stache. speaking of moustaches, terry ruskowski's was highly under-rated. and to keep it on topic...according to wiki, who was the only player in major professional history to captain four clubs? terry ruskowski of course. houston aeros (WHA), blackhawks, kings and penguins. 103 documented NHL fights and lord knows how many WHA fights in 6 seasons he played there. pretty impressive for a guy who was 5'9" and 168 lbs. (click on "watch on youtube")

Loved Terry. Got him and Rich Preston from the Jets when the WHA was folded into the NHL. They won the last Avco cup as well. My favorite Hawk of that era. ….didn’t watch the video, age restricted?, really. Must have been a bloody fight.

TV shows and movies where an actor is wearing a Blackhawk jersey. Plus rock bands where one of the musicians wears one. I've seen Bears jerseys before in TV shows. I can think of one movie I saw on TV years ago where I think the lead male actor wore a white Blackhawk jersey. The storyline involved a hockey player. I'll have to see what I can find. stumbled upon this today. i didn't mind her music that much but it wasn't everyone's cup of tea. for me kate bush was definitely easier on my eyes than she was on my ears.

old wayne would be just another in the long list of great players we acquired too late in their careers...
off the top of my head there's coffey, wendell clarke, fleury (theo), gilmour, goulet, bondra, housely, orr, nicholls, brunette and etc. etc. etc.

heard on the radio broadcast during the avs game that assistant coach kevin dean grew up being great friends of chris farley and his brother kevin farley, and that their mothers were best friends.
edit: and i just now realized he played 96 games as a blackhawk defenseman from 99/01. i guess i'd forgotten about that.

Wait that was goals . . . close enough. gus bodnar assisted on all three of mosienko's goals. heard it on a podcast today, i was amazed i never knew. that's a league record btw, not a team record. missed the fastest 3 goals by one team record by one second. the bruins (johnny bucyk, ed westfall and ted green) scored 3 goals in 20 seconds in the 70/71 season.

Ok this is not necessary Hawks trivia (sorry if I hijacked the thread). With many matinee games played yesterday who has scored most goals in matinee games? Hint: Active player and please no Google. Let's use our brain.

Correct 75 & 76 goals scored yesterday. In my mind he was the most logical to be the one.

This isn't Hawk related but it's hockey trivia and I couldn't find another suitable thread.
I happened to come across a guide to hockey jargon the other day. The big majority of the terms were the common ones everyone knows, such as 'biscuit', top shelf, five hole, goon, or deke.
But there were some I had never heard used before. These are ones I just wasn't familiar with:
1. gino 2. breezers 3. duster 4. grocery stick 5. tilly 6. pigeon 7. dinger 8. pizza 9. muffin
