Hawks need all hands on deck, still not much depth. If he can’t go I’d give Guttman a shot in his place. |

From a big picture standpoint the preseason seems to be playing out as expected. A lot of new players - young and old - to get organized and on the same page. So far so good!

Thought if I understood Luke’s comments today that tomorrow’s game will be the Black- Hogs against the Blues as they will call up a bunch of those they recently sent down. Then he said he has the tough decision on the remaining cuts and whether to start the season with 7 or 8 D-men. Interesting to see where Colton Dach ends up.

Apparently before the Minnesota game Raddysh asked Luke if he could play on the PK, and he helped them kill all 6 PPs, including an extended 5 on 3.
He was a leader in the OHL with Debrincat and Strome and after a 20g second season he seems poised to be a leader in Chicago.
I love Hagel but this was a smart trade by KD.
