Congrats to Savoie and Hayes on their first points as a pro in their first game, and Korchinski for his first AHL goal in his first game.
Commesso only faced 19 shots but he stopped 18.

The Rockford game was fun to watch - except - for those dark jerseys which makes it nearly impossible to read the numbers during the play. Other than that - the Hags played with speed the Griffins couldn't match - it was a beautiful thing, especially because it was Grand Rapids which has traditionally been a nemesis for the Hogs.

my second most intriguing prospect. atta' boy sammy!! I have a gripe about 'Chicago Prospects' video of Savoie's goal. They specifically mention the "beautiful stretch pass" by Crevier that started the whole play. Since it started the play that led to Savoie's goal, I'd say Crevier's stretch pass was a key part of the play. So why wasn't it included in the video? When the video starts Gavin Hayes already has the puck in the offensive zone. They could have at least put Crevier's stretch pass in the video. Is a 6 second video okay but an 8 second video would be out of the question?

Dach on way to dressing room after his fight Jawed away at Cossa this team has lots of attituded should be a ball to watch. Jerseys looked great easy to see at game lots of complaints about tv though

crevier almost had a sneaky goal. close but no stogie. He should be kept, it's rare to find a 6'8" right handed dmen who can actually play. He was a captain and voted the best defensive dman in the QMJHL for a reason. I like how he's been with Korchinski a lot since training camp. Shows how highly the Hawks think of him. I can see the future righties being Levshunov, Rinzel, and Crevier.

I didn't view Crevier as an NHL level prospect - but from what I've seen this year so far - maybe i was a bit hasty in writing him off. I'd say the jury is still out but that's actually a good thing because it means he has a chance.
I've liked what I saw from Rinzel last year and through the first 2 games of this season he looks even better. Can't wait to see Levshunov lace them up - hopefully soon.

Shouldn't a 23yro on his expiring ELC get a 20-30 game 'look-see' this year before the decision has to be made on his future here? The massive influx of high picks the last three drafts and a few decent leftovers have created an over-abundance of young D-men,and it's inevitable that some won't get the required assessment and development before decisions have to be made on em..........with one current roster spot to do so. Maybe being a right-shot works in Crevier's favor but being an opposing/physical 6'8" would work in his favor too if he could develop an NHL 'edge' to his game IMO. A 6'8" player who doesn't use his God given size for a physical advantage is like a 5'9" player w/o speed or quickness.........tits on a bull. Maybe the Org does keep him on another cheap,one-year deal, but there's only so many contracts the team can offer and KK,'Lev',Phillips,EDM,Allan and Kaiser will all be looking for spots, and they'll look for em next year......or sooner in some cases. 20yro,1st round pick Sam Rinzel might be ready to make the jump after his 2nd NCAA season too but where to........LOTTA guys to jump over!

Ludwinski was -3, must've be assigned to the Hinostroza line.
Nazar, Del Mastro, and Strand were the only ones with a +1.
Giving up 6 is ugly, especially when Commesso let them all in, didn't see the highlights so I don't know if he's to blame but those are ugly numbers.

When you see someone like Seney get an unsportsmanlike conduct, and guys like Guttman and Rolston get roughing penalties, and Sanford get a roughing penalty for removing opponents helmet, that probably tells you what kind of game it was.
It was nice to see the Blackhawks first two 1st rd. picks in 2022 combine for a goal.

The Hogs were up 2-0 then Milwaukee scored but there should've been a penalty in front of the net, you can see a Hog get interfered with and knocked down, could've been a crosscheck, roughing, or interference penalty.

Despite the 6-3 loss it was nice to see Korchinski pick up his first assist as a Hog on Nazars shorty. Nice stretch pass and Nazar with great speed to get a breakaway.

Ugly first period down 3-0, Milwaukee scored on the first shift.
But the Hogs made it 3-2 and almost tied it before giving up two empty net goals.
