Well Hogs win!! Thats not a very good team and Im talking about the hogs. If you think the big club struggles to pass and receive passes hogs are the same it was kinda rough hoping it was just this game. Young D guys Arty and Kor still need work Arty more than Kor. No one really stood out if I had to pick Nascar and Savoie. The Gutpunch Slag and Dach line had a couple good shift but nothing that would get you to excited. Daughter will be at Sundays game maybe she will have a better report. The new casino is real nice so that was a plus before and after game. No offense but were you drinking at the casino before the game? lol Like last game, Hogs came out flying and could've been up 3-0 in the first 5mins. First shift Seney hit the crossbar and a few minutes later on the PP he just missed on a onetimer with the shortside open, Hogs then went on a 5 on 3 and Nazar scored. And Korchinski is skating with a lot of confidence and in the first 5mins he made an outlet pass and took off up the middle and was sent in on a breakaway and went backhand forehand and just missed. The 3rd play they almost scored on in the first 5mins Savoie made a sweet pass to find Hayes cutting behind the D and he just missed going short side. As for Levshunov, he had 3 good defensive plays his first shift. One was a big hit, the other 2 got the puck out, Nazar lost the opening faceoff and in their end Levshunov used his stick to knock a puck loose and he used his big frame to protect the puck and made an outlet pass, near the end of that shift he had a perfect poke check along the boards and got it to Dach. Korchinski only had one bad play defensively, that was on the goal against when he missed the pass to the front, instead of stopping he was turning to his right. Another play could've been bad when a guy got by but he caught him and swatted the puck off his stick to the corner. He made a few really good plays with his stick, and he's been really good at skating it out or making quick outlet passes. But I agree that Savoie and Nazar stood out, every game I've watched those 2 were my favorite forwards. Dach and Slaggert didn't have many chances but they were great defensively, both hit, block shots, and read plays very well in their own end. Considering the large turnover, these guys are still getting used to each other, they'll start clicking. I'm still optimistic with the young guys.

So game against worse team in the league who played yesterday not only are they winless on home ice, i believe their announcer just said this 1-0 lead they hold is the first time they've led a game on home ice.

Lets hope for a more engaging second period Not good when they had 1 out of the first 12 shots on net. Marcel showed up though, huge board rattling hits in each of his first two shifts.

Future so bright we gonna need shades good grief This is probably the worst game of the season, Levshunov and Korchinski both screened Weekes on separate goals, Del Mastro with a turnover that resulted in the 4th goal, and the forwards can't score. The career AHLers definitely aren't helping, Felix turned it over on one goal, Sandford has zero goals and showing why in this game, and the 5'9" 170lb guys are easily pushed off the puck. You're not gonna win many games when your first line has 2 guys 5'9" 170lbs, not sure why Sorensen keeps Mayhew and Seney together, then on the PP he puts Guttman with them.

Sorensen is so frustrating, that top line is too small, Nazar is the biggest guy at 5'10" 185lbs. His wingers are 5'9" 170lbs. And why tf does he have 3 rookies on the 3rd line. These lines obviously aren't working yet he keeps rolling them.

I hope we see more of this on a regular basis. Nazar is on fire. I like to see the PLUS dept for these kids. Slaggert +3, Nazar +2, KK +1, Dach +3. Good to see!!!

Realistically the three best forwards with a chance for a call up…good to see… Savoie's a close 4th, he's flying out there and had a few nice drives to the net, plus he hits a lot and great on the PK with Marcel². I'd put Marcel as the 5th choice, 2gms in a row he had huge hits in his first two shifts, he's dropping guys. He moves well for a big guy and finishes every check, even when he just leans into guys they're falling. And congrats to Marcel on his first goal as a Hog, he was looking for Nazar for the hat trick but missed and it went in the empty net.

Seney and Mayhew were pointless and -1 each, Nazar scored on the PP and when Seney and Mayhew changed and he stayed out with Dach and Slaggert.
Dach-Nazar-Slaggart should be a line.
