wouldn't it be nice if they released the exact weight and height of each player so we're not relying on numbers from 2 or 3 years ago?

Not one player tryout, that's a good sign. St Louis has 6.

I figured Bertuzzi and Hall would get the initial chance to play with Bedard. Surprising for me is Shevy getting 2nd line centre work. He came up as a centre and did the job when Bedard went down. I think he can handle the position but it’s not what you would call a heavy line. However, it’s first day, none of these lines will last past a day or two I’m thinking.

I like Chevy as the 2C, that's where he played in juniors and he was heavily relied on because of his 2way game. Kinda surprised Reichel is on the top6, for now, but at least he's back at his natural position on the wing.

This might come as a surprise but I was hoping for updated heights and weights too. It's strange how Dach was over 200lbs when he was drafted but he's now listed under 200lbs, same with Spellacy.

who is winning a face-off on those lines? I am hoping 98 looks better there, but I think it's gonna be a bit before he improves too much in that area (other things to work on). no idea about any of the others face-off numbers...

I don't mind the experiment, Nothing wrong with the 1st, line except at the dot, but can live with that burt can crash, so that should help the other 2, 2nd line would be a god send if it pans out, would take a lot of pressure off the 3rd and 4th lines

interesting quote from the head coach. I prefer LR do head coachy type stuff with a closer eye on defense guys. But since they didn't upgrade their offensive coach and scheme. No offense to Derek King, nice guy, but not a top offensive coach.

I love that Ludwinski line Me too, that line has a bit of everything plus all three are smart in their own end. Might be a line in Rockford this season, Sorensen had them together at the Kurvers Showcase and Luke is keeping them together at camp. Nazar, Dach, and Lardis were together at the TKS as well, Lardis is going back to the OHL to play with Vanacker but the other two might be on the top6 together in Rockford. I also like how Spellacy is at center. It's crazy how far he's come in such a short time, and last season was his first full season just focusing on hockey. 21 goals on the bottom 6 is impressive, should be on the top6 this season and on the special teams.

Listening to CHGO and they said they were happy to see refs on day 1, 25min scrimmage.
There was 3 squads, Bedards didn't play in the scrimmage.
3-1 final, Teravainen, Smith, and Savoie scored for one squad, Lardis the other.
They said Smith looked like the 3rd fastest guy out there and chasing down pucks and scored a nice bar down goal.
Lardis scored a dirty goal in front of the net, this guy isn't big but he's fearless with elite speed and shot.

And Murphy collided with Dach and was slow to get up, I wouldn't be surprised if he's hurt already.
